The Pledge
Okay. So what am I pledging?
Nothing complicated.
- You're not promising to stop using AI.
- You're not committing to boycott big companies.
- You're not joining a political party.
- You're not claiming to know exactly what the future should look like.
You're simply saying:
People should be part of the plan.
I believe progress should make life better for people.
I want all of us to have a meaningful say in the future we're creating.
Count me in.
One voice is easy to overlook. Thousands are harder to ignore.
The pledge isn't only symbolic. As more people join, Pledge Human can:
- understand what people are actually worried about
- surface issues that institutions may be missing
- gather lived experience
- identify where there is strong public interest
- invite people into relevant Shape conversations
- support submissions and advocacy
- demonstrate public demand
- build coalitions around strong ideas
We're not claiming influence we don't yet have. This is the movement being built — and it only works with enough of us in it.
